Charissa....what's the deal with your SDA date??? Did they lose it? : (
What we have been told is that because there are so many families adopting children with special needs lately, thanks to groups like RR, they are no longer expediting petitions for children with DS. They are now processing our dossier just like they would a family adopting a typical child. Also, the SDA will stop processing dossiers soon, as they shut down for several weeks over the holidays. If we don't hear within the next few days, we probably won't hear until late January. Bummer, huh?
